For coaches

Know who to watch today

Open the app in the morning and you see who is at risk and who is in pain. Alerts come to you, you do not have to check anything. And the data exists because players use the app for themselves.

What you see in the morning

Three numbers for the whole team at the top: average NEXT8 Index, average risk and the number of logs from players over the last seven days. Right below that, team readiness, team load and a named list of who to watch today.

Team readiness

You decide on load from data, not from an impression during the warm-up.

Team load

You see who has had a hard week and who has dropped out of the routine.

Who to watch

A named list of players whose numbers point to risk.

Who is in pain, and what to do about it

This is the thing you do not have anywhere else. A player records pain in the morning log and the app sends them a questionnaire automatically. You see a pain heatmap for the whole team, by name. Small things you handle yourself, bigger ones you pass to the physio.

Pain heatmap

The whole team on one screen, with names and specific areas.

The questionnaire sends itself

When a player records pain, the questionnaire goes out automatically. No chasing.

Hand over to the physio

The physio has their own account and sees the whole organisation. You pass the case over with one tap.

We do not promise that injuries will not happen. We promise you will hear about pain sooner than when the player speaks up.

Alerts come to you

You do not have to check anything or ring anyone. When a player is at risk or in pain, you get a push. The rest of the time you can leave the app alone.

Why the data exists at all

The biggest worry coaches have is that the lads will drop it after a month. Filling in forms cannot be enforced long term, and when it rests only on you assigning it, it ends.

Here players log because they get something out of it themselves. They see their own form, they have streaks, leaderboards with friends, nutrition, habits and an AI coach over their own data. The app makes sense to them even if no team existed. You then see who to watch without having to chase it.

Player passport

You open each player into their own card. It holds:

Readiness, NEXT8 Index, sleep, risk and energy
Readiness radar and team role
Age, height, weight, benchmarks for maxes and tests
Records of morning and evening logs
A health card for recording injuries, together with the physio
Attendance, notes and history across the whole season

And then everything else

Calendar and programme, attendance with double confirmation, fines with their own treasurer, a tactics board in live and animation mode, video analysis comparing two clips side by side, scouting and data export for the club.

You do not need three apps. But this is not the reason you get NEXT8.

How you get started

1

You create the team in the app

It takes a few minutes and you need nobody for it.

2

You get 7 days free

The full coaching interface, no limits.

3

You invite players with a code

A player joins the team with a single code.

4

You pay or cancel

Straight in the app, or we agree on an invoice.

The club can add another team or another coach at any time. The plan limit is on the number of players in the club, not on the number of teams.

Player data, straight up

You will see your players' health data by name, that is pain, fatigue, illness and stress. We say it openly, because it is a tool for looking after players, not hidden monitoring.

For players under 18 that comes with a parent's consent, from a parent who knows exactly who sees the data. We have a page for parents you can send them, so you do not have to explain it yourself.

Coaches' common questions

The log takes players about half a minute, morning and evening. You only need a morning glance at three team numbers. Alerts about at-risk players come on their own, so you can leave the app alone otherwise.

That is the most common worry and a fair one. That is why the app is not built on you enforcing it. A player has their own form, streaks, leaderboards with friends, nutrition and habits in there, so they open it for themselves. In a team that uses it, over 70 percent of players log regularly.

No. Everything can be entered by hand and the app works the same. With a watch, sleep, heart rate and steps fill in automatically through Apple Health, Google Fit or Health Connect.

You see your team. The physio and the club administrator see the whole organisation, those are separate roles.

Yes. A team or a club can pay by invoice, or the coach can pay directly in the app. For larger plans an invoice is worth it.

It does not have to. NEXT8 is about the player, not about club administration, and it sits happily alongside whatever system the club uses. You do get attendance and fines in it too, so it is your choice.

Try it with the lads

You create the team yourself in the app in a few minutes and the first seven days are free. If it does not fit, you cancel and pay nothing.
