What it is

Fatigue, sleep and load in one number

An athlete tracks ten different things — how much they slept, how tired they are, whether something hurts, how much they trained. The NEXT8 Index combines it all into one score you grasp at a glance. No deciphering charts: the number at the top says whether today is a day to push or to take it easy.

How it’s calculated

Five inputs, one result

The Index comes from your morning and evening logs and your training load. Each input has its weight — the worse the sleep or the higher the pain, the more the Index drops.

What it tells you

Three zones, clear action

75–100

Green — go full

Your body is rested and ready. An ideal day for a hard session, intervals or a match.

50–74

Yellow — careful

Something’s holding you back — short sleep, residual fatigue. Train, but ease the intensity and watch yourself.

0–49

Red — slow down

High fatigue or pain. A day for recovery, light activity or proper sleep.

In the app

Two minutes in the morning, a head start all day

Morning log

You tick off sleep, energy, stress and any pain. It takes two minutes over coffee.

The Index is calculated

NEXT8 combines your logs with training load and returns one number from 0 to 100.

You get a recommendation

Based on the zone, the app advises how to train today — and why. No guessing.
